La idea para este libro creció del deseo de staff de la Biblioteca de Truckee en involucrar y aprender de nuestra comunidad Latina. Esperamos que la semilla sembrada de este proyecto continúe a crecer para tener más participantes en el futuro que además reconoce las raíces de todo Latino América. The idea for this book grew from the desire of Truckee Library staff to engage and learn from our Latino community. We hope the seed planted by this project continues to grow and have more participants in the future, recognizing our Latin American roots. We acknowledge, with many thanks, the contributions of Nataly Zarate who gathered a great number of recipes from our community.
